This website is devoted to one of Houston's most unique neighborhoods, Glenbrook Valley. Opening to great fanfare in 1954, Glenbrook Valley featured a neighborhood layout designed by the nationally acclaimed firm of Hare & Hare, and home designs approved by a committee headed by the architectural firm of Crochet & Carroll. It hosted part of the Home Builders Association Parade of Homes that year, and was the exclusive home to the show in 1956. Designs by E. Kelly Gaffney, Crochet & Carroll, William Floyd, & A. Carroll Brodnax were featured. Many Glenbrook Valley homes were also featured in national magazines .

Included on this website is archival information on some of these historic events under both the history section, and the Parade of Homes section.

The photo gallery offers a glimpse into the great homes Glenbrook offers, and the real estate section can help you locate your own mid-century home in the community.
